We offer a nurturing monolingual environment where children develop Russian language fluency and social and artistic skills. We work with each child, paying attention to their emotional and cognitive development while respecting their individual needs. We offer small class sizes and high teacher to student ratio. We work with reflective and dedicated teachers who are committed to ongoing training and professional development.
Free “Mommy & Me PlayTime” Program, Saturdays Noon - 2pm
Upon parents request the New Russia Cultural Center is offering a free playtime for the Russian-speaking residents and their children, ages from infant, preschool, to any grade of school. The program “Mommy & Me PlayTime” takes place on the center’s premises on Saturdays from Noon to 2pm. It is parents’ initiative and parents will run the playtime program. Program does not have an instructor. Parents are responsible for their own children. No registration needed. The center’s administration is happy to support the playtime activities. Three rooms upstairs are available to accommodate variety of activities for children and their parents. Children music will be play, toys, art and crafts supply, children books will be available.
Possible playtime activities:
Playing and socializing: It’s could be great time for children to play and to socialize for moms while children are playing in a pleasant, safe environment.
Storytelling: It’s could be a story time to give children an opportunity to increase their love of books and reading, as well as develop important social skills.
Art and crafts: It’s could be enjoyable creative activities. One of the best ways to connect with children is to be creative with them.

Classes for Adults/Beginners Level Wednesdays, Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Tuition: $75, 5 sessions Instructor: Joe Meschino Basic Russian is for people who have never studied Russian language or had a few years of Russian many years ago and need a review. |

Children's Poetry Theater "Express" Rehearsals: Mondays, 5:45pm-6:30pm, Performance: Saturday, 2pm Tuition: $40 Teacher: Marina Vaysberg Class for children from 5 to 8 years old. Students will perform poetry plays based on the Russian popular poems for children. |

Acro-Tumbling-Fitness Classes for Children and Adults Tuesday, 6pm-7pm(children), 7pm-8pm (adults) Tuition: $15/class. Instructor: Yuri Tsykun Classes will begin with stretching and flexibility exercises followed by basic skills training and finished with strength and conditioning exercises. |

Vladimir Nikitin Russian Folk Dance School Saturday, Time: 12pm-1pm, 1pm-2pm Wednesday, Time: 6pm-7pm, 7pm-8pm Tuition: $200, 10 sessions. Instructor: Vladimir Nikitin Introduction to character dance. Dancers learn body placement, intricate rhythms, and folk dance steps. At the end of 10 classes session a dance will be choreographed and staged by the class.

Intresting in teaching? Opportunities are available for quilified exceptional part-time, day, evening, and weekend instuctors to design and teach courses at the New RussiaCultural Center.
