Saturday, August 1, 2026 - Mills Mansion in Staatsburgh, NY
Mills Mansion (officially known as Staatsburgh State Historic Site) overlooks the Hudson River, is located within Mills-Norrie State Park. The palatial Gilded Age estate welcomes visitors through a variety of guided tours and public access. The site is the elegant country home of Ogden Mills and his wife Ruth Livingston Mills. Overlooking the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains, Staatsburgh is a fine example of a great estate built by America's financial and industrial leaders during the Gilded Age (1876 - 1917). The surrounding parkland features scenic Hudson River views and is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

The Museum houses the world's largest and most significant collection of Rockwell's work, including 574 original paintings and drawings. Rockwell lived in Stockbridge for the last 25 years of his life. The Museum founded in 1969 with the help of Norman and Molly Rockwell, Norman Rockwell Museum is dedicated to the enjoyment and study of Rockwell's work and his contributions to society, popular culture, and social commentary.
Saturday, August 16, 2025 - Bannerman Island Cruise and Walking Tour
One of the Hudson River's most captivating destinations! Bannerman Island is a tiny jewel nestled in the stunning Hudson.
Our special group outing to Bannerman Island on August 16th was a success! We departed from Beacon, NY, and enjoyed beautiful views of the Hudson Valley during our boat cruise to this tiny jewel nestled in the stunning Hudson River. Our guided tour provided fascinating historical information as we explored the famous Bannerman Castle ruins and the island's beautiful gardens. The tour gave us wonderful insight into this unique piece of Hudson Valley history.

This tour includes round trip by full size van. During the tour we will visit Shelburne Art Museum. Cost: $45/person including admission, guided museum's tour and transportation.
An open-air museum, Shelburne Museum houses more than 150,000 works depicting historic New England life. The Impressionist paintings, folk art, quilts and textiles, furniture, 17th- to 20th-century artifacts, and American paintings are housed in 38 exhibition buildings arranged to mimic historic New England architecture. Twenty-five of these buildings are historic and were relocated here for the museum.
