Festival Events

The Contest is dedicated to strengthening local communities through the art of Russian poetry.   Children and adults recite in Russian one poem of their choice.  Three age levels. Two divisions: "Native Russian speakers" and "Non-native Russian speakers”. Admission: Free. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

 

Russian Artist Mila Kapustina. Pigment print portraits are composed in the style of traditional oil portraits. They are photographs, composed in the style of traditional oil portraits, refreshing in their formality. Exhibition is open from February 2 to February 28 2020.  Admission: Free  

 

 

Open to pianists in three age levels.  Contestants will perform apiece written by any Russian composer.  Admission: Free 

 

Open to vocalist of all ages.  Contestants will perform apiece written by any Russian composer. Admission: Free 

 

Open to instrumentalists as violinists, violists and cellists from age 6 through 21. Contestants will perform a piece of music written by any Russian composer.  Admission: Free

To commemorate the 75th year of the end of World War II.  All films are in Russian with English Subtitles. Post-screening discussion with expert panelists and community members. Admission: Free. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
