The 11th Annual Russian Winter Festival     
GRAND FINALE - It's a day of traditional food, music, costumes, exhibits, performances, crafts and contests.

Admissions: Adult: $6, Children: $3 from 5 to 12, children < 5 - Free

12pm -1pm Bilingual Theatrical Show "Frosty" (Morozko)

Morozko 6 2019The show is directed by an artistic director Yuri Naumkin and performed by the members of the Russian Drama Club of the New Russia Cultural Center.  “Morozko” is an old Russian folk tale about a self-important young man Ivan and a young girl Nastenka. They must overcome magical trials in order to be together.

1:30pm - 2:30pm All Winners of  10th Annual Tchaikovsky Music Competition

The concert of All Winners is a showcase of young performers of the Capital Region of New York State! This year, 40 young musicians aged 6 to 18 compete for the first prize, performing some of the greatest masterpieces of the piano, vocal and violin repertoire.  The winners of three divisions: PIANO and VOCAL will perform Saturday, February 16 2019 at 1:30pm during the Festival Grand Finale. 3pm - 3:30pm The Winners of Russian Poetry Contest

The winners of the Russian Poetry Recital Contest - children and adults recite in Russian one poem of their choice in two divisions: "Native Russian speakers" and "Non-native Russian speakers”. On the photo: the winners of 2017.

crafts smallCraft Vendors - A wide variety of arts, crafts and merchandise related to the Eastern European style is available at the festival.  If you are interested in participating, please review our rules and complete the vendor agreement.  2nd floor.

golubtsyGolubtsy - Cabbage leaf stuffed with beef & rice, served with baked pirozhki.
kotlety ala rusKotlety a la Rus - Chicken grilled to perfection, layered with tomato covered with melted cheese.  Served with oven-baked pirozhki.
