Friends' Circle

As a Friend of the New Russia Cultural Center, you become part of a social network of concerned individuals, committed to the development of the culturally enriched community. The Friends of the Center, individuals and local businesses, are our sustainable supporters. They are able to maintain the certain level of support on a regular basis.  They have opportunities to take part in activities such as the Russian Winter Festival, Heritage Dinner Awards Events and meet dynamic individuals of the Russian-speaking community from the Capital Region of New York State, receive the NRCC newsletter, which highlights current activities, as well as notification of future events.

How to become an official Friend the Center

To become a Friend of the Center, simply complete the Applicant Form and bring it with you along with an appropriate applicant fee to any event you would attend or return it by mail to

If you want your Applicant Card mailed back to you, include a self-addressed stamped envelope, and allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.  To become an official Friend of the Center, applicants must complete the following activities during one fiscal year (September 1 – August 31):

• Attend three (3) events or clubs' meetings 
• Volunteer three (3) times for some center's activity or help one of the center's committees: Fundraising, Circle of Friends, Public Relations, Social Media, Website, Book Club, Woman’s Club, Drama Club, Rentals, Saturday School, Heritage Dinner Awards, Russian Winter Festival, Festival of Nations, Concert Hall Performances, Children Summer Camp, Business Directory, Entertainment Events.
