The park is a beautiful spot at the confluence of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers. Peebles Island State Park is a rare jewel, hidden gem in the midst of urban setting.Once on the island, you no longer feel like you are in the city. There are the small water falls on the east side of the island and the view of Cohoes and Waterford on the west side.

End of Summer picnic on September 17 2022
September 17 2022 was a stunning day for a End-of-Summer picnic at the Peebles Island State Park. It’s atruly beautiful place in the heart of a metropolitan area. At the picnic we enjoyed view on Mohawk River, chatted with friends, ate yummy food, and played outdoor games. Gathering was soo pleasant and enjoyable!!!
