nov 11 2018OLGA LISOVSKAYA, soprano, is a native of Kiev Ukraine.  Hailed by critics as a "wonderful coloratura soprano, with the flexibility to caress the highest range notes," she is an active opera and concert singer, performing at some of the most prestigious halls in the world.  Most recently, Ms. Lisovskaya performed two concerts at Carnegie Hall with an international concert organization, Talents of the World, Inc. and interpreted the roles of Serpina and Lieschen with Commonwealth Lyric Theater. She will be returning to Carnegie Hall this December to sing in a Tribute to Maria Callas and at a Christmas Ball, both concerts are part of "Talents of the World Festival at Carnegie Hall."  Olga's program of Ukrainian music has been praised by both critics and audiences and was featured on both American and Ukrainian television. And, her performance of Italian repertoire was viewed by millions of Italians throughout the world, when it was aired on Christmas Day on RAI International TV.  Ms. Lisovskaya holds a BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, a Certificate in Voice from L'Ecole Normale de Musique d'A. Cortot, Paris, France and a Certificate of Political Science from l'Institut des Sciences Politiques, Paris, France.  Ms. Lisovska is a sought-after voice teacher, and enjoys teaching students of all ages.  www.OlgaLisovskaya.com

 
BORIS FOGEL was the main accompanist for the “Moscow Concert” organization for 40 years. He traveled the world accompanying the Soviet Union’s outstanding singers, dramatic actors, instrumentalists and artists of different genres. Among the singers/actors that he accompanied were: Lidiya Smirnova (creator of the role Shurochka in the movie "My Love", music by I. Dunaevsky), Leonid Utesov, Andrey Mironov, Anatoly Papanov, Spartak Mishulin, and many others. He is in high demand as an accompanist among professional singers and instrumentalists here, in the U.S. In addition, he became a researcher, advocate and promoter of the best achievements of Russian culture from 1960 to present day. He published several successful books in the series of  “A Concertmeister’s Notes”.
