Galina Evtushenkois, foundrer of the Russian Cinema Club
Galina Evtushenko is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at UAlbany. She is a professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow., where she teaches Film/Cinema Studies. Dr. Evtushenko graduated from Voronezh University and obtained a Master’s Degree in the All–Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIC). She began her career as an independent producer and director with the founding in 2004 of her own production company, Rose Film Studio. She has participated in international film festivals in Greece, Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, India, the U.S., and Canada; and in international workshops in Munich, Ebeltoft, New York, and Israel.
